Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we operate on treaty land, referred to as Treaty 6 Territory and that the City of Humboldt and all those who reside in the city and the communities surrounding that land are beneficiaries of this treaty.

Treaty 6, the lands of the Cree, Dakota, Nakota, Salteaux and the homeland of the Metis Nation.

With commitment, and in the spirit of respect for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Call to Action #93 Prairie Gateway Settlement Services (PGSS) works to bring our clients and Indigenous peoples together. We acknowledge the history of this land and are thankful for opportunities to walk together in friendship and promote positive change.

We are grateful for the traditional Keepers and Elders who are still with us and those who have gone before us. The connection we have with this land determines existence for future generations.
